The original Nissan Juke was an absolute trailblazer. Designed as an alternative to conventional small cars, such as the Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo, its high-riding stance put a touch of SUV style and glamour within the grasp of the masses.

And despite its quirky looks not being to everyone’s tastes, it sold by the proverbial bucketload and inspired a raft of small, high-riding cars, including the Renault Captur, Skoda Kamiq and Volkswagen T-Cross, in the process.

The trouble is, even if you loved the way the original Juke looked, there weren’t many logical reasons for actually buying one. Thankfully, this latest version is a vastly better all-rounder, and over the next few pages we’ll tell you exactly why.

We’ll explain the things the Nissan Juke does really well, as well as the areas in which it lags a little behind the best small SUVs. We’ll also give you the lowdown on the best versions to go for.

And if you decide to buy a Juke, or indeed any other car, head over to our New Car Buying pages to find out how much you could save.
